Jiyoung Lee is a New York City–based arts administrator with a Master’s degree in Museums and Digital Culture from Pratt Institute. She currently serves as the Director of Programs at the AHL Foundation, where she oversees curatorial projects, publications, communications, digital archives, grant writing, and fundraising. Her work spans organizing exhibitions, galas, art fairs, and online programs.
Jiyoung has curated exhibitions such as Palettes & Plates: New York Korean Perspective (2024) and Dear D, (2023), and has produced projects including Feminism is Not Your Enemy (2025) and the Space Uptown series (2022–2024), funded through various institutional grants. She also directs the Archive of Korean Artists in America (AKAA), where she led the development of a comprehensive digital archive and improved its research accessibility. In 2023, she published AKAA Interview Series, an oral history project featuring over 30 Korean artists.
Before joining AHL, Jiyoung worked as the Online Communications Manager at the Asia Culture Center under South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. There, she launched a pioneering live-streaming program with sign language interpretation to expand accessibility.
From 2017 to 2019, she facilitated the ACC Roundtable, bringing together digital strategists from the Van Gogh Museum, Brooklyn Museum, Centre Pompidou, and the Guggenheim. (Updated on 04/07/2025)
